How to Report Bounced Emails to G-Lock Analytics
G-Lock Analytics calculates the email opens and link clicks but does not record bounced emails automatically. If you want to get more accurate email tracking statistics, you need to report the number of bounced emails to G-Lock Analytics yourself. To do this:
- Login to your account on G-Lock Analytics
- Check the box next to the campaign name
- Click on Edit Campaign button
- Type the number of bounced emails for this campaign into the Number of Bounced field
- Click Save

G-Lock Analytics will reset email tracking statistics taking into account the number of bounced emails.
Reporting Bounced Emails from G-Lock EasyMail
If you send the emails with G-Lock EasyMail, you can use the Bounced Manager module within the program to retrieve bounced messages from the server and report them to G-Lock Analytics. The process takes only 3 steps:
1. Create an Account in the Bounced Manager (if you don't have it yet)
To get the Bounced Manager working, you need to setup an account. To do this:
Click on the Home menu in the Bounced Manager
Click on Add Account
Enter the account settings:
Account Name - any name for your account, for example, Bounced
Email Address - email address that you will check for bounced emails. You can go to a regular account settings in G-Lock EasyMail, copy the email address from the "Return Email Address" field and paste it in the "Email Address" field in the Bounced Manager.
Server address - your POP3 or IMAP server name. If you have an IMAP account, check the "IMAP Account" box further.
Login - your login name for the POP3 or IMAP server
Password - your password for the POP3 or IMAP server
Port (set automatically) - 110 for a POP3 server or 143 for an IMAP server
To test if the account works, click Test. If the test passes, click OK to save the account.

2. Retrieving Bounced Emails from Server
After the account is setup, check the box next to the account and click Start.

3. Report Bounced Emails to G-Lock Analytics
When bounced emails are retrieved, you can report the number of bounces to your campaign on G-Lock Analytics. To do this:
- Click on G-Lock Analytics tab in the Bounced Manager
- Click Login to connect to your G-Lock Analytics account
- Select a campaign you want to report bounces for
- Click Report Bounces button

Then you can login to your G-Lock Analytics account, click on the campaign name and look at the snapshot. You’ll see the number of bounced emails found by the Bounced Manager.
